What Do You Want?

Have you ever been asked, “What do you want?” It seems to be the the all time question everyone asks. When it comes to problem solving and manifesting, I will teach you how to go deeper to decipher exactly what you want. It may turn out that you are desiring something different than what you thought you wanted. A lot of times we dwell in a problem and think we want something opposite of that and that is not the case at all.

There was a lady in Neville Goddard’s lecture class that was great at manifesting. People would ask her to pray for them and she would say, “don’t tell me what you don’t want, tell me what you want”. Neville loved this idea. He talked about it in one of his lectures and gave a practical explanation on how to do this.

Here is the 5:30 min video of Neville speaking of her in his lecture:

Examples of Deciding Truly What You Want:

  1. You are not satisfied in your job. You feel over worked, unappreciated, and underpaid. The boss keeps coming at you about a deadline. Instead of complaining or dwelling on these circumstances, think about what you would want instead. Maybe, it’s a new career altogether or it could be you just want to be valued for the work you do.
  2. A child is acting out by throwing temper tantrums, not eating, and fighting with other siblings. Instead of complaining about all of what he is doing, go to the end result of what you would want. You would probably want your child to be healthy, happy, and content. Think on these things instead.

2 More Examples:

  1. Someone in your household is lazy. Instead of grumbling and thinking you want them to stop being lazy, what you truly want is help around the house. Think exactly what you want them to do. See in imagination them doing what you want. People reflect the assumptions or opinions you have of them. If your opinion of them is laziness, then they will act out that opinionated assumption. They are great characters playing their part in your assumption. So, see them actually doing what you want them to do. You have to ACTIVATE them by your own imagination. If you want them to do the dishes, visualize them doing the dishes. If you want them to take out the trash, visualize them taking out the trash. YOU must visualize THEM doing the act FIRST, then they will do it. You have to see them in imagination actively doing the things. Doing this technique you will get help around the house.
  2. You and your special person is arguing. Instead of saying you want to stop fighting. You may just want to be trusted, loved, and wanted. Maybe, you want peace, friendship, and openness. Go to the deep source of what you truly want. Don’t stay on the surface of just wanting to stop fussing. Go deeper. What is it that you really want?

Don’t Babble in the Undesired- Go to the End of What You Want

Furthermore, there is no need to vent what you are currently going through or what is undesired. Just focus on what you want. Really think about it. If you have a lot going on, what would be the every end result of what you would want?

What do you want

Keep the Solution Simple

Do not over think the problem. Just think of a solution to what you would want. What is the end result that you would like? What would make you truly happy? Then, think and believe that you already have it. Play that end scene in your mind or take a mental picture to look back on. Remember, imagination creates reality.

Here is another 9:07 min video of Neville speaking of deciding what you want and how to visualize it.

Neville says, Go into Imagination

In imagination, see yourself in first person point of view or someone else doing, saying, or receiving something that would insinuate already having the desire. Neville says, “go to the end” of what you want and play an imaginal scene that would “imply” that you already have your desire. Feel the feeling of having it. Be the person who has such things. See others as doing what you want them to do or being want you want them to be. Everything comes from YOU. You are the operant power of your reality. It is YOUR ASSUMPTION about the whole thing.

In Conclusion

So, next time, when you are going through something, really think about what you truly want. Stop dwelling, upsetting yourself more, and just ask yourself, “what do I want out of this?” What would make you happy? Then, focus on THAT. Remember the quote, “don’t tell me what you don’t want, tell me what you want!”

I hope this helps you. You got this!
