Are your affirmations dull? Do you feel like you are saying words with no power behind it? You are not alone and I can help. I am going to show you what is going on using biblical stories, guide you on how to power up your affirmations with 2 steps, and show you 3 ways to keep your affirmations going.

Power Up Your Affirmations When Struggling

Are you feeling like you try so many times to get ahead, you feel helpless, or you do not know where or how things are going to be manifested? You believe in its possibility, but you cannot believe how it will manifest in your life. You are not alone, there are biblical characters who felt the same way. (Hear me out on these scripture stories, I have a point). There was a father in scripture who believed in possibility, but needed help to overcome his doubts. Mark 9:24 “The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” I often resort to this scripture when I am believing, but feeling doubtful. It helps to know you are not the only one feeling this way.

Furthermore, there is another story of a man who was lame for 38 years, but he still had hope. He tried so many times to get into the healing pool, but was unable for many reasons, overall he felt helpless. Jesus asked if he wanted to be healed and he said, yes. So, Jesus said to him, 8 “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.

Energizing your power

Jesus knew the power was not actually in the pool, but inside the man himself. If you think about it, did not the man know the same thing and turn his attention to God, the I AM? He struggled in his own effort and as soon as he turned to I AM he was able to rise and take up his bed and walk.

The power source is always in you. Remember these stories when you are feeling low. Whenever you are struggling, feeling doubtful, and helpless like these guys. Do as they did and turn to I AM. I AM is your power source.

2 Steps to Power Up Your Affirmations:

Here is 2 steps on how to power up your affirmations.

1) Powering up by Meditating on I AM

How to stir up “believing” power when you have none. You stir up believing power by realizing WHO you have inside of yourself, WHO you are, and knowing the power of God that is within you. You do this by meditating on I AM. I’ll show you how to do this.

It is called, “I AM” affirmations. You start off by repeating slowly, “I AM” a couple of times. You can even just repeat “I”, “I”, “I”, saying “I” will center you and add in “I AM”. Just saying I AM will awaken the God in you. You can feel the energy power of just those words when you say it a couple of times. TRY IT NOW and see. I’ll wait a minute for you to try it. Okay, next say, “I AM is GOD” and “I AM is Powerful”.

Speak Things that are True

Then, speak things that you know are already true about you using I AM in your sentence. For example, I am nice, I am helped, I can do things etc. Think of things you can do. All these words are powerful because you know these words are true about you. This helps to believe in yourself.

Next, feel the I AM energy and get up. Get up on your feet and “take up your bed and walk” as Jesus spoke earlier. It is important to KNOW who you are and to RISE UP. You are a powerful being who can squash the doubts and unbelief. Jesus says, “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you”.

You have the Power to overcome unbelief by meditating on I AM. There is a way to make your affirmation happen and this is by speaking in the truth of knowing who you already are and what you can do. I AM is your power and what you say behind the I AM is your truth. Say those affirmations you just said about yourself with truth and feeling. You must feel the energy of that power.

2) Power up your Affirmations by Visualizing

Go into imagination and visualize yourself doing what you would like to do or feel what it would feel like to be that person. Visualize yourself in first person point of view by looking at your hands and touching things. This is what Neville did to get in first person point of view. Think of things of what you would do, if you had what you want.

You must visualize these things because the reality of it comes from these visuals. Everything stims first from imagination, then it becomes reality. It’s thoughts, then reality. Visualizing in imagination powers up your affirmations because you get to see the truth in you. It is a visual of the affirmation.

How to Keep These Affirmations Going:

1) Do Not Give Your Power Away

Now, that you have your power. Do not give your power away to anything or anybody. Stand in your I AM power and make things happen. You are the cause of your life and the one who manifests everything.

You know, it all comes from inside of you. Your power and assumptions make your world. Neville says we are the cause of the outer phenomena of our life that even our inner conversations and thoughts are causing our reality. If you can change your thoughts and what you are saying on the inside, you can change your reality.

“Most of us are totally unaware of the mental activity which goes on within us. But to play the game of life successfully, we must become aware of our every mental activity, for this activity, in the form of inner conversations, is the cause of the outer phenomena of our life.”

Neville Goddard – The Power of Awareness
do not give your power away

Do not give your power to your negative inner conversations or the outer circumstances of life. Do not believe in what the world is telling or showing you. Circumstances do not matter. Everything can be changed, do not give power to unwanted circumstances. Click that link and it will explain.

“Because of your belief in external things you think power into them by transferring the power that you are to the external thing. Realize you yourself are the power you have mistakenly given to outer conditions.”

Mental Diet and Inner Conversations

What you are saying inside of yourself will come true on the outside. You must watch what you are thinking and saying to yourself. Neville calls this Mental Diet and Inner conversations. I will post the video of his lecture below. Watch it when you have time. It’s one of my favorites.

2) Know Who You Are

Jesus asked in scripture, “who do you say that I AM?” God being inside of you, you must be the power that you speak when you say, I AM HEALTHY, you must know that YOU ARE HEALTHY. Stand firm in what you say. Do not give it any other power by saying or believing anything other than that truth. Speak with command, “I AM, THAT I AM”.

You must know this truth inside of you in order to decree it. You must know WHO YOU ARE. Say your affirmations with the power of BEING who you are; this powers up your affirmations. Do not just throw your words out there expecting to see results. You only get results when you FEEL the knowing that YES, I AM THAT! You pick up your bed and walk in the knowing that YES! I AM HEALTHY!

This knowing truth is in your consciousness. You know this is the truth about you because this is the GOD in you. This is the Power in you. If you have to say your affirmations over and over to yourself to drill it in enough to convince yourself of it, do it. This is called meditating on the word of GOD. Meditate so much that you are conscious of being that which you want to be. That means to be aware or conscious of the fact that yes, you are THAT. You meditated so much on it that you now finally feel it to be true about you.

3) Decree by Assuming the Truth about You

Decree by assuming the truth about you in imagination. This assumption will harden into fact if you persist. Neville says, “Your assumption, though false in the sense that it is denied by your senses and reason, if persisted in will harden into fact in such a normal, natural way that you will think it would have happened anyway.” So, decree it by assuming it is already real for you.

“Can man decree a thing and have it come to pass? Most decidedly he can! Man has always decreed that which has appeared in his world and is today decreeing that which is appearing in his world and shall continue to do so as long as man is conscious of being man. Not one thing has ever appeared in man’s world but what man decreed that it should. This you may deny, but try as you will you cannot disprove it, for this decreeing is based upon a changeless principle.”

Slipping Out of State

As you already know, throwing affirmation words are not going to get you anywhere. This is why you are reading this. Powering up your affirmations is the knowing in consciousness that “I AM, THAT I AM”. Focusing on the I AM in you and being conscious of being or assuming you already are that which you want to be is the way to power up your affirmations and keeping them going. When we feel that our affirmations are not getting results, we have moved out of the state of being. Neville says it is easy to slip out of state and when you realize it, get back in. It happens to the best of us.

“You do not command things to appear by your words or loud affirmations. Such vain repetition is more often than not confirmation of the opposite. Decreeing is ever done in consciousness. That is; every man is conscious of being that which he has decreed himself to be.”

Neville Goddard

Revision

IF you have to do REVISION on yourself throughout the day to fix yourself do so. Revision is revising your thoughts, speech, actions, or events. Click the link for more understanding.

Summary- Power up your Affirmations

In summary, when you are feeling low, relate back to those bible stories. You can power up your affirmations by meditating on I AM in you, remembering who you are, speaking the I AM truths about you, and visualizing yourself in imagination BEING the affirmation.

Furthermore, to keep these affirmations going, one must not give your power away to outside circumstances, watch your inner conversations and mental thoughts, meditate over and over on your affirmations until you are convinced, decree the affirmations by assuming it is already true, live your affirmations out loud in real life, and doing revision when you need, too.
