Ever wondered what banks millionaires use for their money knowing that the FDIC will only insure up to $250,000.00 in US banks? Well, I did some research and they have many options. One is to break it up in the same bank, using Joint accounts , CDs, Trust funds, IRAs all using different beneficiary names to each one. That way each $250,000.00 is individualized under a name and insured by the FDIC.
Another way is using a network of well-capitalized banks. For instance, IntraFi® Network, is a network that will disperse your money into other banks meeting the $250,000.00 FDIC insurance limits. Your money will either go into your IntraFi® Certificate deposits (CD), Demand Deposit Account (DDA), or Money Market Account (MMDA) in participating banks.
Many Millionaires Use Preferred Bank
For example, many millionaires use Preferred Bank because using Preferred Bank the maximum deposit limit is $100 million to a combined max limit of $150 million! Millionaires use the IntraFi® Network agreement. Using this agreement, they are still able to view their total account balances, see the recent transaction history, and utilize other useful benefits in the bank all while being 100% FDIC insured.
